Bristow Malta

    This large collection of figurines of rustic characters is for sale locally. Each is signed what appears to be Bristow Malta.

    They are well sculpted and similar to good French Santons and good French and Italian terracotta fishermen .

    Although I can find Bristow Malta ceramics online I can find absolutely zero other examples of figurines by them which is a mystery as they must have made more.

    Any ideas? Apologies for photo quality.

    I’ve some mugs from them, never seen figures though. I presume you can’t get a photo of the signature?
