    Revenant Not as Active Anymore

I have been unpacking a collection of paperweights that my mom had displayed all over her old living room. Some might be from the early 90s, some have been around since before I was born. Some are very pretty and true works of art, others I would call gaudy. Some are signed.

Before I start taking some group pictures, I just wondered if there is anyone here that may know a thing or two about what's what. Will add some picture tomorrow if there is interest!

you should see the glass paperweights that we often see around this sight,
and when I say we ......I mean we , because we're a community here.
Asking if there's anyone here who knows something , is like walking into a hospital and asking if anyone knows something about a cough.

Sure , some know more than others.....and some even specialize .....but the value of this site is that we are greater than the sum of our parts.;)....:woot::woot::woot:

& just to make sure u know whom you're dealing with............:wideyed::wideyed:

read this....... ( or just look at the pics......:hungry:.)

It works best if you hit the "full size" button at the top after you've uploaded all of them.:)

Post good pics of any signatures you can’t read.
These ones are often Victorian and referred to as Dump glass paperweights.

Some very nice pieces indeed. Some Chinese newish ones as well.I especially love the one in the back with the mutli color bubbles. I see some art glass ones ,no signatures? The one with the metal leaves on top is intriguing.

Thanks. Some do have signatures - I'll post some close-ups.
My daughter has been taking individual pics of them to offer some on her etsy page.

Yup, nice dump, I’ve got one identical. The blue controlled bubble pear is probably Harrachov. That big one with the coloured bubbles looks langham. Rabbit might be capredoni, which is dartington. You’ve a couple of good old Chinese. Dahlia is modern Chinese. I think I see an Okra or Ditchfield. The floating millefiori may be Toso. I’ve got that owl. Rejmyre? The cherry blossom and bird and the adjacent gold one are very interesting.

    individual photos, please!

I know little about weights, but can usually pick out the common Chinese ones. I think there's a Glass Eye Studios egg or two in the back. (GES) The gold one in the front caught my immediate attention along with the one with the rainbow-ish bubbles in the back.

Lizzie All you need is love ...and a dog.

The square one in the back right in the first two pictures with the sort of snowflake design, may be Cristal Sevres. I just sold a similar one that still had the label.

That angel is familiar, I’ve forgotten who made it. Agreed, a couple of GES.

the thing with the gold leaf is either a bottle or a pen holder. Clear controlled bubble looks Whitefriars, but I need to see its backside.
