    I was wondering what this compact says? Looks like it starts with an "E" but can't make out the rest. It looks like mother of pearl or abalone? Thank you for any info

    I doubt Abalone, but certainly some form of 'MOP'. A very nice piece of work, for sure!

    abalone does come in soft shades of white and pink , as well...;)
