Another metal vase: Japan?

    Found this guy not too long ago. It's kinda cool- each edge of the square bottom rotates 1/4 turn as it rises to the rim, such that the top and bottom are offset.

    There's a reddish patina as you can see.

    No mark. It's very reminiscent of this other vase I have and posted here months ago, and which has a 'Made in Japan' sticker (which I have also been unable to date online). They seem like they have to be mass-produced at some point, but I can't find much online.

    Thank you for any and all help identifying this.

    10" tall, 3" x 3" base and rim.

    The design on this is great. I definitely see the Japanese influence on it and it does look a lot like your other piece.
