    No it’s the first time I have posted it. I know way back in the day The NY Times did an article on Marian and they may have used it

    We have 3 original painting by Marian Butterfield. She was my husband's great aunt and his mother used to visit her in Turkey until she was unable to travel any longer (in her 80's).

    Just purchased 2 Marian Butterfield still life oil paintings at an estate sale in Texas Township, Michigan. I suspect they must have been class work for college. As previously noted by @Debora , "someone who has clearly studied art". It appears that she graduated from, or was at, Ball State in 1946. At least 1 of the paintings must have been exhibited.
