Floral encrusted porcelain basket-blurred blue mark

Hello all

I bought this porcelain basket with encrusted flowers. It has a blue mark underneath but its blurred and i cant make it out. Any ideas?

14cm length, 8cm depth, 12cm height to top of handle.

My first guess would be German porcelain elfinware. Second guess would be Japanese porcelain.

For what it's worth, here is another one on eBay with completely different marks. The seller didn't bother to research it or give close-ups of the marks.

I have no idea but I wonder if it might be one of the EPIAG marks.

The corners remind me of blood red work by Anish Kapoor. Unsettling.

 

That looks highly likely. Amazing you deciphered that.

 

I had to look up that name. Too bad you ever had to see what he calls art and have that in your head.

 

Thanks all for your help. Given the (in places) poor quality, blurry marks and repeated designs in different colours, i will conclude i bought a dud.

Image 011217-01-02 shown there is an example in b/w as the blue originals are , well, too heavily blurred.

 

Grafenthal! Ha, couldn't tell from that blurry mark. Looks like what I call "trinket ware." Cute, but not great quality.
