Anyone know where I might find an expert in vintage/possibly antique Mexican pottery? Pieces are unmarked & undecorated. Were in a family from Mexico for decades. I've come up with nothing, so far. tia

What I've found, I think they are cooking pots.

The middle one/largest I believe is a cooking pot. It has a stamp that I can't make out. Smallest/left, an olla/jug. Did I get it right? Not sure about the one on right?

Forgive the correction but... A cooking pot is an olla. A jug is, depending upon size, a jarro or a jarrito.

I think the pot in the center with the handles is French. I could be wrong but that text that I can make out looks to be French.

That's interesting because... At first glance, they didn't look Mexican to my eye. A bit too refined. Non-traditional shapes. Unglazed.

Could one of the words possibly be Vallauris?

    My best guess is
    SOCIETE INDUSTRIELLE
VA. LAURISAN (more legible than the 1st line)
