Hi all. Way out of my usual wheelhouse but intrigued me so here we are. This beaded wrap(?) is in perfect condition and weighs a ton. The fact its all beads blew me away. It was a bear trying to capture it in its glory. What era are we thinking? 70s ? 80s? yesterday ? Any input is always appreciated.

Wow! The first pic seems not to be of the same garment, an' the other 2 really show its beauty an' appeal. Are those Ukraine's colors?

Pieces are typically dated by their proportions. Assume you don't have a mannequin. Could/would you photograph this on a coat hanger?

A mystery piece, could be 1920s, could be 1980s.
    It has sleeves. Jacket? Cardigan?

If vintage... My first thought is 1970s disco which was a long, narrow silhouette of slinky, man-made fabrics. That would explain the beaded tassels designed for movement too. On the other hand... the colorway is much newer. So seeing fit of shoulder, narrowness/width of body, length of sleeve and hem is important.

Johnny now that is a find. I too am curious mostly about the seams & how the beading is attached. Not so much color, as I have garments from my grandmother that are still vibrant as they were & still are very well cared for & stored properly.

Much better, I had no idea it was so long! I think it isn't very old.

A very good example of why the quality of photographs matters. I think yours is a recent-ish boutique item. Likely made in China. Or India.

Its all good if its recent China or India. I paid $4 .The purse was $3. I just thought it very cool considering its beaded.

If you keep it, fold it, rather than keeping it on a hanger.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

What does the label in the purse say? Looks like Lycella, maybe? But all I see under that is a trademarked name of a fabric in sheets made by a certain company, DEWOOLFSON.

I believe it is an older Chicos vest. It looked familiar to me but I couldn’t place it. I had a relative who only wore Chico clothing. I spent part of the afternoon looking at pictures of her because I remember her wearing that.
