Thanks! Good to know— I wasn’t sure if thread-stealing was only allowed to cats…

Cats are a law unto themselves. It's not stealing if you're a cat. If they swipe something, it was always theirs. You just didn't know it. So sayeth the cat.

I guess I was asking for that cat pic…
Ours was bulimic but trying to hide it by throwing up in my shoes. I couldn’t ever decide if the puke felt worse cold or lukewarm when putting my slippers on first thing in the morning, without looking first… Our vet couldn’t ever figure out the cause, but the cat lived a long and happy life, even after turning the living room carpet from beige into a leopard-spotted one.

I had a cat who loved to bat around small balls made of crumbled aluminum foil. But they kept disappearing so I was always making more. Then one day, getting ready for work, I couldn't get my foot into my shoe. The stinker was hiding the balls in it :D

At least they hadn’t gone through the cat first…

P.S. I remember that cartoon cat (Sylvester?) from eBay. :)

You just made me remember one of my favorite moments with my younger son. :D

Back in the early 1980s my DH had a pair of boots that came up to mid-calf on him & Brian loved to put them on to clomp around the house. The problem was that he was only 2 so they were hip boots on him. ;):hilarious::hilarious:

The DH was back in the bedroom getting dressed when I heard all manner of commotion & 4 letter words. I rushed back to the bedroom to find him holding a boot in one hand & a Fisher Price Big Bird figure (see example below) in the other.

It seems Brian left a present for him the last time he was playing with the boots & Big Bird was lurking in the toe of the boot with his beak the first thing he encountered. :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:
