Item is clearly handmade, but I am not an expert so determining how old it ACTUALLY is is kind of challenging.

Doesn't look anywhere near 120+ years old. It also doesn't look familiar at all. I lean towards agreeing with komokwa that it's a fantasy item. I'm confused at what its purpose would have been if it were authentic.

Depends on what you mean by "authentic." Doesn't appear to be a genuine "stick" from the 1800s-1900s but... Does appear to be a modern fantasy piece very likely produced by a craftsman. If you do a Google Images search for "Navajo antler bow" you'll find similar.

  12. I contacted the seller and they said that they bought it from an estate sale and then contacted a local vendor who dealt in Native American artifacts at a flea market and they are the one who told them what it was.

either way it’s a great piece in my opinion

That is always the most important factor when buying something.

I might suggest that knowing what it is you're buying is also of great importance !!

It can be, later on. But people often buy something simply because they like it.:)
