    Hi

folks something else i found yesterday at a brick a brack stall
ive seen modern pieces with the same sort of characters, but this is alot older i get the feeling

the jar or vase it once belonged to must have been a fair old size i would think

i came across this while researching, seems to share very similar characteristics though better condition

if it is that old, would there still be collectors, given that its just a lid ?

    any thoughts appreciated

smells beautiful for some reason, strange old musty smell

    heavy as well

If it didn't sell maybe they might want to buy your lid. If it fits of course.
    You should consider contacting them.

For fans of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" - the kids with the baggy clothes and long sleeves remind me of the "Footmen", the flapping, gyrating assistants to the "Gentlemen" in the episode "Hush".

It has the look of something aged, but how old is the problem. It seems to be a common motif. I guess put it up for sale and see what bites you get!
