Any thoughts on ID of this ring?

Found in cigarette card lot knotted to a trifari necklace. The only mark visible is the triangular cartouche (see photo). The "jewel" is about 17mm diameter, so seriously blingy! There are some tiny nibbles to edges of facets. I think the metal is silver.

to make sure it's a silver CZ
& not a platinum diamond.....

Is this similar?
Stone measures about 4/8 by 5/8 inches.
Stamped "China" and another tiny symbol.
It's at least a size 10.
Belonged to a relative in the 80s, I think.

 

There isn't a China stamp on this one. TBH, one ring looks much like another to me. Much prefer an old pitcher

 

The shape of the cartouche looks Mexican to me, but what's inside it, not so much.

 

Mine was said to be lemon quartz, silver, and cushion-cut on the stone.

 

It looks like sterling and a huge honkin' rock to me too; I'd be too busy wearing it to sell it.(LOL)

 

Oh...Y'know I was going to go there.....but thought better about it !!!
