Just finished a bit of faux-finish and trim for a Japanese Spa.
Most of my work is like that... decorative accents. But the murals are a mainstay.
Next week is another Mexican restaurant, so if everybody keeps being so sweet here, I will get some pictures.

Big difference between grey.......& White !!

 

Gila, murals are very romantic, very catholic and very colourful.
Having seen many custom decorated restaurants, I can tell you, they had a privillege.

I personaly have no artistic capabilities and it always made me sad that I cannot draw a straight line, but I always especially admired street(building/house) murals.

 

I like my gray/white/brown hair.

 

My gray hair has its own policy. It wouldn't go the way I want it, so its a struggle...

 

Few years ago there was a street festival in one of our cities and one local folk art painter drew an image on my wifes hand.

Yes. Everything done by hand. These women tak great pride in their needlework.

 

I started going gray in my 20s and it wasn't pretty. I colored my hair for decades and then decided to just let it go. I had it cut pixie style until it was all white. Never felt bad about the decision.

 

As I've said before...
On the subject of hair... mine is thick and shiny black and will probably stay that way a long time (judging from older relatives)... BUT... (also judging from relatives) I can expect a nice dark moustache in the next decade or so that would put Pancho Villa to shame, if not vanquished somehow, which it will be, no matter the pain or price.
I guess nobody gets off without some kind of hair issue.

I strted going gray when I was 27, during my "tour of duty", and it went on. At least its not growing out of my ears, yet.
