Here's their description of this lot:

'Très beau lot de bijoux anciens, vintage et récent
Composé de bijoux en argent, plaqué or, émaux etc......
    Montre imitation
Il manque le fermoir sur une paire de boucles d'oreilles et une boucle d'oreille seule
Lot en bon état voir très bon état'

'Very pretty lot of antique, vintage, and recent jewelry
Made up of silver, plated, enamel, etc jewelry
    imitation watch
There is a closure missing on one pair of earrings and there is one solo earring (can't for the life of me find it in the photo so they may also mean there is one closure missing on one earring)
    Lot in good condition'

I'm kind of thinking this might be a pass... If I was mistaken as to the age of a lot of these, then I'm buying for the sake of silver and not for the sake of old. I did that with a couple of lots recently and when my hunch was wrong I was stuck with a bunch of newer vintage stuff that has zero individual value.

The harem rings were multiple rings connected. We bought them when we lived in Turkey. Most had stones but later I began to see them show up in US without stones.

Those look like Indian earrings, the style they make in Jaipur.
    Pity.
It is difficult to see what exactly needs doing. It would have been nice if the photographed them full length.

It would seem to me that most bulk jewelry sellers would have a certain interest in the field and would do at least a quick culling of the better pieces, but then again not always ! Someone here shared w/ Us a pr of 18K Etruscan Revival Micro Mosaic earrings they got in a lot like this,so who knows.
PS-Don't know if was bought on Ebay or one of the other endless hodge-podge of sites ?

Yes that would have been nice! They are marked 925 on the back which is something. But unless I know the exact extent of the damage its hard to judge.

Ugh those earrings were the find of a life time weren't they??

why wouldn't you put up something like the bracelet on its own?

    they know what they're doing,

you salt a bunch of average items you wish to get rid of in a lot, with a few good items to make the lot more appealing to buyers.

oh most definitely. Either that or they know something we don't: ie its not sterling or some such detail. I like the ones that come from non jewelry people much better.

Pierre Bex. ALL of those earrings are 80s and have resin over the stones. They don't fall out.

Possibly. A lot of these are gold-plated sterling.

Silver, plated metal, enamel. One earring is missing its clipback, and one is a single earring. It's the clip-on rose. The other can be worn as a collar clip, but as someone with no holes I clocked that immediately.

Oh it's the rose! Gotcha thanks! Yeah if it's no older than 30 it's not for me. Thank you all for being so informative! Very helpful.

The final bid on this lot was 351e. Far too much for my taste! :nailbiting:

Somebody thought the bracelet and that ring might be unmarked but "right".

Wowza. That's really high. I wonder if people were hoping the Hermes was actually real...

Not unless they were really brainless. It's made more like a Claire's piece than high-end designer.
