My most recent thrift shop find. A coat from Barneys New York x Yasmin Sewell 2014 capsule collection in barely worn condition. Original retail price was $1,375. I paid $7.23. Went to a chic family friend visiting from Guatemala. Suited her to perfection and... she was very pleased!

If I didn’t have an idea how they seem to think at Savers, I wouldn’t have bothered to go back! But they separate glass and candlesticks. :wideyed:
    I am VERY lucky!!:shame:

One of the regulars at my car boot sells wonderful home grown plants and produce. She gave me a taster of her grapes last week. On Sunday, despite the threat of rain, she'd gone out to pick these, just for me. They were scrumptious.

I also bought yet more bling. I need to find a way to fix a new rollover on the butterfly, or make it safe. The blue necklace is weird in a good way: mostly glass, the blue "coral" is plastic.

I may not be a Picasso "expert" ,or a da vinci "expert" or even the title of a beanie baby "expert" , but i'm smart enough to know that everything about this chair and painting matches perfectly, as it should/could only if Picasso was the one who painted it . it's a tough nut to crack but i'm not giving up yet .going to need that coconut cracker i seen it the thread a while back lol

Found this little book at the rummage, paid pence for it. Deciphered the one time owners name as H. Hamshaw Thomas. A president of the Linnean society, awarded the Darwin medal, wing commander, specialist in early aerial photography and world famous Paleobotanist.
