    Hi all
Thank you for reading my post.
I have an old jug that I have drawn a blank on regarding my research. It's clearly stamped Utopia F.B & Co F to the base however I have failed to find anything about it. It's a large piece being about 30cm in height.
What attracted me to this jug is the wonderful old staple repair that it proudly displays.
I believe that it is transfer printed, and would guess that looking at the repair, the jug has some age.
What always amazes me with a staple repair is how valued by the owner an item would be to have it repaired. I have no fear in buying a nicely repaired piece as such!
Thank you in advance for your replies.

I believe Utopia is the pattern name. F. Beardmore & Co was the manufacture. Circa 1903-1914. This would also be referred to as brown transferware. Also, part of a wash basin set and would have had a matching bowl. The bottom F refers to location (Fenton) British Pottery
