Will photograph in daylight tomorrow. I did look at other pics of Holmgaards bases...looked good, but I don't know glassware.

I love the bird on the right ! Self control is for people who miss out on treasures . I try so many times to practice that, and invariably hate myself when I do and miss out !

That perfume with the sail is Cristal d’Arques.

Better to have buyer's remorse once in awhile than wishing forever that you bought that treasure. Been through it with fine jewelry pieces.

Some finds over the last week.

A trip to the scrapper got me these silver cuffs... Left to right: sterling by Jerry T. Nelson (a Navajo silver smith), not sure what the stone is, turquoise, maybe larimar; possibly Egyptian; Southwestern simply marked sterling and lastly marked 935, looks like Persian turquoise, no idea where it's from.

From eboo, silver enamel pins. SilverEnamelPins.jpg

Also from eboo, both 1940s Coro, both marked "sterling Genuine Norseland" with a Viking ship stamp.

The lighting balance is gorgeous! Agreed with Debora, stunning photos! I'd take the enamel bird on the left any day.

Yea, that is why I check in with hime every couple of weeks. I've gotten quite a few nice pieces form him. Not dirt cheap but reasonable :)

Way better than antique store prices. The scrapper seems to have a good eye.

Yesterday I was at a meeting for our Antique Dealers Association. When the meeting was over the woman who hosted told me she found a bag of jewelry she inherited and had forgotten about and did I would I want to come back to look at it. I said how about now :)

She came back with a large kitchen trash bag! I went through everything, made piles for her to keep, for donation, for a lot to sell on Craig's list (about 35 lady's watches), to sell online, silver for scrapper and gold for scrapper. Plus a pile for me, all in all a very nice surprise.

Small 14k diamond studs, costume bracelet and 2 pins, nice old ring box, 10k stick pin with a pink sapphire, unsigned mesh purse, 14k pearl studs and an 18k ring for scrap.
    MiscStuff.jpg

Silver goodies, the oval pin is swirly moss agate, the red one looks like jasper.
    SilverJools.jpg

    Early 20th century 10k cameo pin/pendant and a mid 20th century 14k cameo pin/pendant on a 14k chain, before and after cleaning.
