old tin toy, black americana, any idea on the maker?

    I recently acquired this. My best guess is this was made by Gunthermann and is German, but that's just a guess.     He reminds me of the central character in Marx 'Jazzbo Jim' or the 'Charleston Trio' but the cabin he's dancing on and two flanking characters are missing.
    He's either a bonafide variant or a marriage of two different toys.

    The Strauss 'Ham & Sam' look like the one,makes more sense than Marx-good find INH.I'd love to find one of these in the box.
