Unknown Artist, Unknown Painting

We have this awesome impressionist painting of what seems to be a Spanish or California Coat. It was given to us from an Estate Sale after the original owners passed away. I cannot find anything about the artist, and was wondering if anyone can tell us anything about the painting? It looks like it is by M. Furnis or something along those lines. I cannot make out the signature at all. Thanks!

 

Would say this is Mediterranean in origin. Could be Spain but just as likely Italy, Greece, etc. Looks like a typical tourist/decorative painting to me. Framing is very typical of the 70s and could be Mexican in origin.
