I believe so or something along those lines. My grandmother always used it, she always had pristine windows. Me the massive cleaner has always used that or any brand that I can find. I had no idea it’s wax. I like to clean. I know what I usually get is all natural meaning no chemicals.

Yes, on the barkeepers friend...but cerium oxide is a new one for me. I'll risk assuming it's a very fine powder, which could be used with a bit of water (or oil?) for scratches. Anything else I need to know? Thanks, Bear!

I do keep Bon Ami in the house; it's a powder cleanser that's been around for over a century with (as far as I know) no changes to the formula. The container hasn't changed much either in a good 80 years.

Barkeeps Friend & Wrights are both great.I found an old tube of Simichrome in the garage, works well but $$$ -it polishes up my gold crowns beautifully.

Simichrome is often used to test bakelite, but I wouldn't put it on anything going anywhere near my mouth!

Cerium oxide is often sold as a paste. It’s meant for removing fine scratches from glass and so forth. You can get it on Amazon.

My dad used newspaper to clean the windows, worked a treat. I’ve been following the great cameo cleaning debate, I hadn’t realised how mucky a couple of mine are.

You do realise that some of those MOP necklaces are early Miriam Haskell?;)

Those early Haskell MOP pieces have a very 'Boho' feel to them for the late 40's early 50's,almost a proto-Beat/Hippie vibe.I'm a Haskell 'newbie',but her stuff seems wild for the time period.
It also looks like she worked in about a million styles.
PS-Sorry for my limited jewelry knowledge .I'm assuming this was by Her-so if this aint, many apologies in advance.

    Heh, yes, Someone did.

I’ve seen these attributed to Haskell but nothing definitive. They’re really nicely made.

Haskell made all sorts of crazy stuff early on. Her later work from the 50s is so bland I often wouldn't know what it was except for the nameplate.
