Please help with identifying makers mark on sterling silver

Below are few items that I would like to know more about. They were not overly expensive, still nice and different.

1. This one is a a chunky necklace, please help with identifying the makers mark. What would be the style and age for this?

2. Amethyst necklace, very pretty, there is a signature SIL 925, please help with identifying the signature and style.


3. This is a brooch, not hallmarked but has few letters on the back YET. Is that a maker mark?


4. A blue stone ring with initials WK, no hallmarks


5. This is another ring, not hallmarked, please help identifying the stone and the style.

That one looks very 1980s to me.

The amethyst bead necklace looks like a craft piece to me.

The brooch looks sandcast/tufa cast Navajo to me, so Native American. No marks means older.

The stone in the last ring is rather scratched. Does the stone feel warm or cold?

 

The 1980s-ish collar mark reads "Bat Art Ami." (That may be an older mark because they appear to currently be using Bat-Ami.) Anyway you can confirm and ask re date.

The ring has a raw stone that is purposely left open, looks like pyrite, but is brown.

I wonder what is your opinion on Electroforming as this necklace is only hallmarked on the chain 925, but not on the body of the necklace. Would you say that the body is also 925 sterling silver, or is it made using Electroforming technique as per their website?

 

I'm unable to answer that question as not my area of expertise. Why don't you ask the maker? Typically, in my experience here, they tend to be helpful.

I think SIL is for SILVER, not a signature.

The blue stone in the ring could be so-called London or Swiss blue topaz, or it could be glass.

Wonder if maker of the NA brooch is left handed. The findings are mounted so that to hang without tilting forward, the brooch has to be inserted from the left.

 

Agree with others, this one looks Native American to me. Are the letters "YET" scratched into the back of the brooch? My sister is really into Native American jewelry and has a book of artist signatures. I will ask her to take a look.

The body is such a simple shape, I would think it was made the regular way, not by electroforming.
There is no need to mark every part of a piece if there is no legal requirement to do so.

There is no YET in my NA marks book. I am not sure it is a maker's mark, it looks like something an owner would scratch in the silver.

 

Do you think that it might read YEI rather tha YET? Yei, Navajo?

 

The stone is an agate. It was polished at one time but it's had a rough life.

 

It could be YEI or YEJ or YET. The letters are dotted, I am inclined to think YET, there is a clear intention to the last letter T (too many dots to be an I).

The stone feels cold I think. Looks like a raw amethyst with the side unpolished and a bit of sparkle on top from the natural stone, like glitter. I have seen similar but with a black stone.

the Yet...and K on the lower right.....mean nothing to me , as it relates to SW...

I don't like the turquoise either.......

 

SIL for silver was used in the U.K. and our colonies, like Australia.

I did wonder if it said YEI. I’ve a very similar brooch, can’t recall if it’s marked.
