Plastic brooch with V shaped clasp

Hi.

Am researching this brooch and am wondering might it be by Lea Stein or someone else.

It has attractive coloures i think .It is not stamped Lea Stein .The brooch is plastic with a metal V shaped clasp stamped western Germany.am reading that some of leas Steins early claspes were stamped western germany.

I am new to this and would love your opinions.

Pretty brooch, probably 1950s, given the boomerang pin back, but not by Léa Stein.

That is where those findings (generic jewellery parts) were often made.
Léa Stein would have bought the findings wholesale, and fitted them on her brooch fronts. The manufacturer of your brooch would have done the same.

Germany exported findings all over the world. You can even find beautiful Japanese damascene jewellery with German findings.

I strongly suspect that’s a hobby kit piece.

 

I'd say the front is made too well, unless the hobbyist was Kyra's grandmother or similar. I'd agree about it being 1950s though.
