Dresden vase?makers mark chiped away

    The vase measures 12 inches tall by 6.5 inches wide.the makers mark seems to have been chiped away.
    Thanks for any info

    Looks like 'ground away' would perhaps be more accurate.

    Peer into the vase opening to see if it was drilled for use as a lamp and later filled in. The inner fill material would not have been smoothed.

    Peered in and it doesent look like is has been drilled anyway.smooth with loads of dust alright.
    Yea see similar egs online but mine is missing the stamp.
    Wouĺd love to hear from a someone who realy knows dresdon to see 8f it matches up.

    That was the first thing that sprung into my mind too. The gold swirls, flowers, Fragonard love scene type art and that minty blue all scream Helena.
