I assume it’s a type of enamel. Applied in little drops I guess? At first glance I thought it was little shards of gemstones. Is there a proper way to describe this technique? 7526B176-2643-476B-991B-4849E952A07A.jpeg FC8A7AB4-3E4B-4454-A2B3-8710F1362D1F.jpeg

The photos are not good enough to say exactly how how the surface texture was made. Maybe with ball burr or fused particles. My mind is not working, long day.The blue spots look like fired enamel in engraved lines.

Definitely enamel. I'd bet @kyratango knows how it was done, and has probably repaired some of it.

It looks like Gripoix to me, or something like it. Molten glass droplets.

I’d agree on gripoix. It’s in the style of Kabirski, but not marked?

Beautiful ring! Only difference is that there’s cells the the glass is dropped into on the ring. Thanks for finding a comparable piece.

they are marked indeed and it does resemble that work but I don’t think the shoe fits. It would be nuts if my CC (I think it’s a CC something, CCO maybe) was for Coco Chanel but I don’t think the shoe fits here either. The estate they came from had the means for Chanel fine jewelry that’s for sure. There was probably more gold weight in jewelry at this sale than any I have ever seen. There was a police officer at the door on this one. 745795CD-DDB4-40A4-B64E-AD4E2942E5BE.jpeg 80733BD4-BB52-44B2-9F10-157CD718B1A1.jpeg FDB0B6DE-84BD-4367-B8E1-CD3278B65F37.jpeg 2A04878F-275B-4AB2-BAB1-F20D9454881E.jpeg
