Antique enamel brooch from which period ?

  1. Hi guys I haven’t been here for a while and happy new year to all :)

    I recently came across this beautiful brooch. Any ideas of period. I was thinking Victorian but maybe it could be early 1900,s



    any thoughts

    I’m inclined to late nineteenth into early twentieth. It’s a bit Austro Hungarian in style to my eye, but @Any Jewelry ?

    I can see why you'd consider that, but it isn't Austro-Hungarian imo. I agree with early twentieth.

    I tend to accuse anything with enamel of being AH.

    Are all those stones green or are two yellow?

  8. It tests as 18ct. I didn’t test the stones

    I’d say 2 yellow to green but they all have different hues

    they almost look adamantine lustre.

    Great minds and all that. I don’t think it’s meant as suffragette , there’s too much else going on. I do think it may have meaning, the initial letters of the stones perhaps.
