Seeking opinions on 2 large covered Chinese urns

There are 2 of them that look the same, both 48" tall with wooden bases and lids. Any opinions on age and/or significance?

 

Are there any markings underneath?

For future reference, your picture is too small and you should always select "Full Image" rather than Thumbnail. A look at the bottom is always helpful, whether marked or not.

How long have you had them and how did you acquire? What if anything were you told when you acquired?

 

My father purchased them in an antiques store in Mexico City around 1990, they told him they were from the 1950s

It's certainly an impressive size. Is it one of a pair or is that a mirror image?

1950s was not and is not "antique." They aren't even all that old. After all, they are younger than me (and a lot of other members here.)

Could you show us details of the painting, and of marks, if any?

They aren't antique, and they look like home decor. But it would be nice if there was a certain amount of hand painting involved.
