    Hi dear Members,

Today I bought this interesting ladies' wristwatch by Sergines.
After some research, I found out that initially Sergines was registered by E. Sagne-Geiser in 1910, then the brand was taken by L. Ulysse Bourquine in 1927 and in 1933 it was registered as the Longines trademark.
It has a brass, or copper (?) case made by Geneva Watch Case Co (written on the inner side of the back). Beneath the Geneva Watch Case Co. wording there is a shield logo.In one of the sources I've read that quantity of circles at the top of the shield indicate the gold karats used in the gold-filled layer (5k, 10k, 14k, to 18k). From this I conclude that the case has 5k gold filled layer.
The top part of the case (with glass) can be also removed and you will have an access to the dial and watches' hands.
The watch hands are in blue steel.
The Arabic "explosion" numerals looks like art deco period, but I'm not sure.
And, unfortunately, the crown is missing.

There are two things, that confuses me:
    1. The dial isn't centred, but I assume that it could be corrected by a watchmaker
    2. the hinges look to be crooked to the righthand side, so I'm not sure if it is a result of some impact, or it was designed like this, and watches were not for wrist, but to be worn as a pendant, or something else (?)

I will appreciate (as always:happy:) any more info on the brand, age, etc.

P.S.: hopefully, a watchmaker will be able to bring them back to life, otherwise I could be wearing them just as a cute bracelet :joyful:

That looks like a wrist watch. (Early bands could be black cords.)
