Wanted to buy slicer attachment for a goodell bonanza apple peeler corer

Looking for anyone that has the slicer attachment for a goodell bonanza apple peeler corer in the pictures at this link https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/antique-goodell-bonanza-cast-iron-1807174571
it's the part that looks kind of like a boomerang just above the coring blade that's the part I'm interested in thanks.

It's completely missing.

 

I just looked at numerous peelers and non have that piece on them but the brackets are there for it - is that an accessory part you attach to it for some reason?

What the hell, are these peelers top secret? I cannot get a picture of one to post.

 

Yes it was attachment that slices the apple and turns it into a slinky for dehydrating or so you don't have to cut them up with a knife currently my peeler only peels and cores that apple.

 

OK, got a picture to post - see, that part is not on this one and all the others I've looked at (so far)

 

I already got ahold of him through email and he told me he isn't set up anymore to make that attachment unfortunately go figure my luck.

 

Oh - OK. That may be a very difficult piece to find - good luck. You would need a blueprint of it with dimensions to get one made at a machine shop or with a 3D printer. To make a pattern of the part and have it cast one off at a foundry then machined would be very expensive.

Yeah there pretty hard to find that's why I came on here to see if anyone had one they would sell there was one peeler that came on ebay with the attachment but it sold before I even knew it was on there.

 

I see the blue machine in the video has a different cutting head bracket on it than the one you (don't) have and are looking for.

 

He had to custom make that slicer and bracket I tried getting ahold of him but he told me that he wasn't equipped to make it again for me.

 

Oh yeah, I see how he made that now and how it works - a pretty simple solution than the original slicing part.
