Featured Found this but out of budget

    It's been listed for £200. Can anyone tell me more about it. She mentions it's 18ct gold but I don't see any hallmarks on it.

    I can see some very blurry marks on the bail and something at about 3 o'clock. The French often use bitty marks, so there may be a 750 and other marks I can't read.

    Looks like there are two marks on the front of the loop (the part the bail goes through). Unfortunately they are blurry.

    It is very likely that it is indeed 18ct, but the price is too high imo. This is not a one-off, so I would pass and look for one with a more realistic price.

    The one on the right is the eagle mark for gold, the other mark is probably a maker's mark for Augis, they also stamped their name on the front. It is difficult to see the exact shape of the cartouche of the eagle mark, but it is at least 18ct gold.
