Featured Victorian hat pin

    Good evening. Does anyone knows if this hat pin is worth anything? We have found it in our over 100years old house. It has been found during breaking lath and plaster wall (it has been in the wall itself. Any feedback is much appreciated. Thank you

    That’s either a nice piece of carved intaglio glass or you’re very lucky indeed. Is that a mark I see?

    Hi thank you for your feedback. There is no hallmark but do you mean the mark inside the glass/stone ?

    You could do a lot of damage with that if you were so inclined!

    What would the other option be, if not carved intaglio glass? Just curious...

    It looks like it has a carved flower or plant in it.

    Carved semi precious or even precious stone is the other option.
