    The drapery on the sides is an indication of its orientation, which makes it even more confusing.
    So the first photo is upside down, it is a shield shape.

    Yes it is. You'd expect it to be missing something on the back of the shield, but it isn't.:confused:

    Maybe research the number on the back? There could be records of Pairpoint designs.

    & yup again....

    remember ..old fabric napkins were thick and huge....

    when mom pulled them out for the holidays...I didn't know what to make of em.....they were never absorbent .....and so pretty I was afraid to get them soiled !!!!!!

    ps...these were for napkins folded flat......
    napkin rings.......for ones rolled up...!
