1973 Bar Harbor, Maine Framed and Signed Watercolor

Hi all,

I can use some help in figuring out the artist's last name in the watercolor below. Share? Shaut? Shore?

I'm confident that the rest is "Walter Aug 13 /1973 Bar Harbor."

Walter Shave or Share?

There is an artist named Walter Share that apparently went to law school in the 70's in Boston before become a full time artist out west later on. His style and signatures from his website seem a bit different but are more recent. Perhaps he could tell you if it's a early one of his.

Hi everyone,

Just want to update that I took "say_it_slowly's advice and reached out to Walter Share. It turns out that the watercolor is indeed one of his earlier paintings. So case closed on this one.
