Hello! Again, I am sharing some of my silver items. The iron top fork has a solid silver handle marked 800 with a clover in front of it and an obscure end symbol. He looks quite old and any dating please? The knife is very small (10cm) also with a silver handle, and must be for letters - I date it 1926-36, Sheffield, maker Latton and Owen? The other object is a silver plated swan salt shaker, could be Art Nouveau 1900? I don't know the marking, maybe Germany? I see a bird running WMF..? Greetings

The swan would be considered an open salt or salt cellar.

The running bird is the ostrich mark of WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik). The mark was used from 1903-1930.
So yes, German, and a very good name.

If you post a closeup of the ostrich mark, we can probably give a closer estimate of the date.

Бихте ли коментирали датирането на вилицата?

Your photo is too small for me to see the marks. It is a beautiful fork though.

Не мога да се справя по-добре, съжалявам!

That's OK, at least you know that it was made between 1903-1930.

Благодаря! Този тип вилица мислех, че е много по-стара... Видях подобен френски с дата 1825..?? Радвам се, че отговаряте, помощта ви е чудесна!

Frankly, I have no idea of the age of the fork. I can only say it is beautiful, so let's wait for other members.

I'm sorry, I copy an English text and it automatically transfers it to Bulgarian? I have no idea why that is..
