I have a plastic shoebox hoard of it. A dealer I see at shows said if you are a resident of Virginia, you can sell it there....another dealer somehow sells it in southern states. Dealers here sell among themselves before shows open to the public...I am sure they have regular customers. I have mixed feelings about it....I someday would like to see a Smithsonian Museum dedicated to the preservation of wildlife, and I would donate it to them for exhibits. If you visited the Native American Museum there, it's three floors. The third floor blows you away. We have lost so much....and my coral jewelry would go there, too.

I made an assumption that I knew what this is. Thought it was a match to this Glasbake (correct spelling) square one but it is not.

It is not marked and I have not been able to find another. I know I have seen at least one other one at some point. If anyone has some information, I am all ears.

I had a Glasbake casserole dish new old stock with a sticker on it so I knew it was by Glasbake, but had it not been for the sticker, I never would have known who made it.
Maybe try looking or searching using the term Hoosier glass and see what comes up.

Diamond shaped mark in last picture should be a French maker's mark,

Brad I am wondering if it is by Jeannette Glass. I had a similar one in Jadite and one in Delphite. Just a thought. But I never saw one like yours.

Roshan, it’s probably Czech/bohemian. There was a fashion for etched and intaglio style glass late nineteenth into twentieth.

I'd bet at least one other boardie would give it house room. Too bad it got smooshed.

Not marked huh? It was marked "SCORE"!

    Rant:

I have been selling some things for DS#2 on ebay. I've had a large antique Kugel up for a while and it sold today.

I texted my son "We sold a luger. I'll split the sale of this one 50/50 with you..."

I was wondering why I hadn't heard back from him! :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

@Bookahtoo - You have been holding out on reporting some pretty terrific sales. :D

I clicked on your listings to see the ornament (it was very cool BTW) and saw you have done very well on the catalogs you were asking about a few weeks back.:happy:

    Congrats!!! :woot::woot::woot::woot:

    Thanks - yes, I have.
The catalogs were DS#2's finds - I did the research and listing. It's been fun.

    Yay! Those catalogs came good!

I'll have to get today's photos up, but I came home with $75 more than I left the house with today, not to mention some goodies.

Today was a day I dropped stuff at my church office, took a walk around the ReStore and came home. Yesterday morning however.... dingdingding. Came home with $75 more than I left with, even after picking up a supermarket gift card for my letter carrier.

A local 4-store charity shop chain was open Thursday morning. I bought two bangles, a ring, a pin and some earrings. The pin is sterling and unmarked. Tube hinge, and a rollover clasp that looks like a replacement. The earrings are marked 14k; they missed it entirely. The bangles: I melted the plain one. It was 14k but had a blurry mess for marks. The other is sitting in front of me with a 21k hallmark. They blew that one! The ring is 14k but the center stone looks like pink-coated clear topaz. Melted the plain one on the way home, used some of the profit to buy the gift card, and still came home with 15+ grams of 21k plus the other stuff. The ring cost $70, but it fits.
