Another odd item needing ID

Large panther figure (about 10” long) very lightweight. At first I thought it was leather over something but now I’m not sure. There is some damage showing what’s underneath, it’s reddish color underneath. Is this a tourist item? I’m thinking Indonesian, but really have no clue. Wanted to check before I toss it in the donation box.
