    Hello All,
May I have some help dating the top half of this candle stick found in Pennsylvania? I have not seen similar and wanted to know if late 1600's to early 1700's was accurate. The bottom was replaced with a wood base, thoughts about what the original base perhaps looked like. Any other information would be appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Eric67

I find most etsy descriptions to be pure fantasy

Hi terry5732, I've only purchased new handmade items from Etsy. This is also listed on eBay with almost 100% feedback rating on 8,000 sold items which still doesn't make it genuine but does show some satisfied customers. I'd appreciate more details about your opinion. Do you feel it's reproduction, vintage, or another date entirely? Anyone else care to weigh in?

    Thank you,
    Eric
