Featured what kind of birds are these ?

hi folks

trying to work out what kind of birds these are
seems to be a german bisque mantle type figurine
dont really like it and its unmarked, but hopefully someone might know what the birds are

a maker would be great, but think thats gonna be tricky

would think it was antique

any help appreciated

 

They may just be decorative generic birds - at least the coloration appears unnatural, with the transposition of the colors. Here are what appear to be later versions of the same theme -

Very loosely. They have the round heads, but don't have budgie beaks.

 

Love birds perhaps? Both would seem to be of the same gender in that case, but we are quite relaxed about these things nowadays

 

I also thought pigeons too.
