Limoges china pattern help

Found this large group of limoges bone china while thrifting today. Wondering the age and pattern name. TIA

 

You want to search with "Haviland" not Limoges. Limoges is a place, not a company. Haviland did the decoration.

 

The mark dates it to 1888-1896. Very few pieces of Haviland have pattern names as we know them. There are what are called Schleiger codes for the blanks and the decorations but I've never been able to get the hang of the coding system. There is a page on Facebook called Haviland & Limoges China ID, Show & Sell that may be able to provide you the code for your pieces. You need to ask to join the page.

There is a chance that the pattern was only distributed through Millar & Peck. If you are selling you would be wise to mention their names in your auction description and/or title.

I think the blank is Marseille or Blank #9.

I have sold pieces that were made for certain stores &/or companies, but Don is correct about putting it in the title with a description of the pattern. There are several pieces listed with pink flowers, but I did not see any with blue flowers.

Pshaw! We're metric in Canada. Approximately 3 cm to the inch is a rough estimate.
