I would like to know more about this antique leaded stain glass candle holder, (at least that's what I think it is). It has no bottom to it. The textured lead is unusual, (at least I think it's made of lead, could be pewter?). One glass panel is broken (as pictured), and I would like to know where I can find such a thick piece of stained glass to replace it. This piece looks to be custom made, but I can't be sure. It's very heavy for the size. Found in S.E. Ohio. Thank you for any information. Measures 8" tall X 4" across at the bottom and approximately 2" from front to back, (thickness). It weighs 2 pounds, 2 oz.

There are shops which sell and cut all kinds and colours stained glass for hobbyists, you could look if there is one where you are. Tag word 'Tiffany'.

Looks like slag glass - does not appear to be 'antique'.

    Definitely slag glass not stained.

I don't know if you can find the right color but some craft stores sell versions of this glass.

    I love the glass color.

Slag glass started at the end of 19th century - 1890's. It was primarily caramel slag. The color slag came along after that.
