Not sure if "militaria"

I found this sticking out of the mud in the river nearby. It doesn't resemble anything I'm familiar with, if even military... anyone have any ideas? There does seem to be a wooden bung / stopper in the broken end.

I'll be cautious with my future comments, all I ask is if people have nothing positive to say in regards to my posts (which are merely looking for information / help) please don't interact with the post.

You will have to accept it if people are trying to be helpful, not just towards you, but also towards others. Yes, there are others.

Komo's and my posts were helpful towards others, an alert so they didn't double-post. That is what we do on Antiquers, help other members, and both komo and I will continue to help, no matter what you ask.
If you can't deal with that and react with aggression and insults to helpful posts, as you did before, this forum is not for you.

Your reply in post #11, after already having been warned twice for posting insults and have even had two weeks time out(!), makes me think you haven't learnt anything and will continue your previous behaviour.
