    Hi folks

a cool spur of the moment purchase from yesterday. went into my friends house clearance shop to see about a japanese cane and he had this in the window

thought it was a cheap guitar because of the headstock mark, but that is the company name not a guitar brand

after sitting down and playing it, its actually a really decent playing guitar, and all looks well made and hand crafted. So gave £100 on the spot

there was a letter inside in the hardcase pocket, that gives a description of it (somewhere along the line an owner must have contacted the maker)

organite is a new one on me, but seems to be made with crystals, mixed metals encased in resin

needless to say im more than happy with it

    any thoughts or comments appreciated

You're right, it is guitar art or an art guitar.:)
Wow, 3000 and 4000, and you paid 100.:woot::woot:

Btw, what happened to the Japanese cane?

Love it, Ches! Have you plugged it in, or just played without an amp?

    Hi Aj

yeah i dont know what to make of the prices given, that could be very variable i reckon

yeah i bought the cane as well, got it at a cheaper price as i bought the guitar.

dont think its anything to special though, a carved bamboo one that there seems quite a few of

will post some pics if you like

    Hi Aj

heres the japanese cane. i think they are quite common so not much value. ive been using it the last day or so not as an aid but to practice my majorette swirls :playful:
nah, its just quite a nice tactile thing to have in your hand, so will probably keep

not sure of age, early 20th ?

The guitars very cool & 100's a no-brainer.Have you contacted 'auradora' yet ? It sounds like a Reichian Orgone ('Organite') therapy tool & a musical instrument-imagine someone deeply into Wilhelm's theories & teachings might like to own this.
Who knows Mate-this might amp ones musicial mojo ?
PS-Def one of the wilder & more esoteric things i've yet seen on the forum.
Grand Tour earrings in a bag of costume & a 1-2K Fostoria vase ? The hits just keep on comin'.

Nice axe. I can imagine someone like Bowie strutting around stage with it. Any idea what the pickups are?

hi mate, no havent a clue, all the hardware seems a nice quality though, might be worth posting on a guitar forum actually to see what they say about the construction
