I like the fine details. Please help with identifying the artist’s name. I have been trying/guessing. Also is the first name maybe something like Ferdinand? W. M... ? It bugs me because I’m sure I have seem the signature before. It’s 61x48 cm. There’s absolutely nothing on the back. Thank you any comments and keep well

Many thanks for commenting AJ. I will search over. I was so convinced that the surname started wit a ‘M’..

I thought the initials were WM, but you're right, the M is the first letter of the surname. If it is an M.

I like it. Very peaceful. 1990 is vintage now.

Do think I'm wrong about the Graff. But I do see Edward W. May be wrong about that too.

It's a very common South African subject. A Google Images search will bring up many, many similar.

Appear to be a number of Craills in Nambiia. The fellow who runs Sarasungu River Lodge is a Craill. You can always ask him; he might be able to identify.

Thanks for the picture and for the confirmation @Antiquefab. Great detective work @architrave. Well done! (I have trying but was very far off with the surname)
