Well Ladies.....I would be most happy to follow u into these locations & confront these jerks who need to tear folks down , just to make themselves feel superior !!

    Ruth...around here you're a breath of fresh air !!

Marco , here , you're always at the head of the line !!

The trick is to know and not to care. I've given it my best shot with some people, and I remain polite. But... oh well. I've known I'm not everyone's cup of tea for my entire lifetime or close to it. Y'all ain't news.

This one was a surprise. It's difficult for any precious metals to get past several of the regular auction buyers. But this pair of pince nez are marked 10K.

It’s simply bad for business to be snippy with paying customers for no good reason. Other people see this going on too. Still there’s the consolation for you to cash in on their ignorance.

It would be a boring world if we were everyone's cup of tea. Vive la difference, I say! And those sellers are morons (can we say that anymore) because you buyers are the steady business for them!

You'd think, but they view resellers as competition instead of as a source of income.

I purchased these two lots of miniature and novelty perfume bottles and wanted to share. There are so many that at the moment I don't even have a place to sort and store except leaving them in the cases in my living room but I am excited to explore all of them. I also got a case lot of compacts and vintage sachets but don't have a picture yet.

Well, that's a lifetime's work! I see Madame Rochas, a favorite of mine, but now reformulated. (Sadly.)

I am actually looking forward to sorting and identifying. There are some adorable bottles in there. Eventually I am sure I will have questions on some individual pieces. There are two in there that have an elk or deer as a top. One of them is from Scotland called Scotch Heather.

Then you've got yourself a fun project. I'll throw in a couple that were easy (for me) to identify. Madame Rochas and Chamade. I'll leave the rest to you. ;)

@Debora, thanks! That's 3 down, many more to explore. Fortunately, many still have their labels.

The original Madame rochas was my first proper grown up scent. Loved it. Don’t like the new one, or the new Je Reviens or the new l’air du temps either.

Estée Lauder made a lovely short lived scent called Pavilion. And Ivoire by Balmain is gorgeous if you can find it.

I do love a scent called Cabotine by Gres. And anything Hermes.

Pavilion was launched in 1978 as part of the "New Romantics" collection along with White Linen and Celadon. They were meant to be layered. White Linen is the only one of the three to survive.

The two lots that I won were out of 6 or 7 that were listed. One lot had 90 perfume bottles. Below is the other lot I won with compacts, rouge pots etc. I am particularly intrigued by the box labeled Mending Silk Hosiery Finish.
