Featured Dresden Plate Portrait

    Good afternoon. I found this good Richard Klemm 17cm plate today. Most of the portraits on his wares were known historical figures such as Marie Antoinette but I can’t find this young woman. Any ideas who she might be?

    I followed Debora’s lead and it is a copy of a self portrait of the leading French artist Elisabeth Louise Viggée Le Brun at age 26 in 1781. All solved thanks.
