    Hi dear members,

I would like to get your thoughts on this Chinese Blue and White Porcelain pot?

I'm wondering if it's Kangxi or other period? The bottom looks strange to me and the cobalt blue is foggy and the drawing looks a bit sloppy.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

    Thank you
    David

That red clay is not porcelain. The whole thing looks strange to me.

    Hi,

I was thinking a different quality of Porcelain (very unlikely) or Pottery with Porcelain coating?

    Both are very unlikely.

Not really my area, but it may be Delftware - pottery with a tin white glaze.
