    Hi everyone,
I wonder if anyone can tell me anything about the attached watch Orient Diamond.
I have searched the internet for the name and the letters and numbers, but could not find anything similar.
It was part of a pearls lot, did not buy it on purpose. I don’t know much about the watches, don’t ware them much either, and would like to ask for basic information like what model is it, when was it made, does it work with batteries? Etc.
A link to read about this watch would be great.
Please feel free to copy someone whom may know about this watch.
The stones test as diamonds, and presume they are lab created.
    Any thoughts?
    Thank you.
    Kind regards,
    Simona

On a mechanical watch you wind it with the stem pushed in; set the hands with the stem pulled out. On a battery powered watch, nothing happens if you turn the stem when it's pushed in; hands move with stem pulled out.

The model number scheme is similar to Seiko
    Likely a cheap quartz movement
    Circa 2000
The diamonds may be real judging by the way they are set
Probably had a high price tag when new
Worth very little to watch people
Maybe a bit to a rapper type

Watch collectors would look at that and keep walking without picking it up. I'd see stainless and a quartz and also keep walking. It's brand stinkin' new. I have no idea if any of the diamonds are real or not, or if's just a diamond design.

Not really. I have one that's stainless and diamonds - Citizen EcoDrive. I use it as a dress watch. Bought it in a senior thrift for $5 because they thought it needed a battery. It needed to sit in the window - works fine.

    Thank you for your response.
I wonder if you can guide me how to find the model numbers for Seiko…. Sorry, I am new to watches.
So far we have Laser in
    OS VE01-000-CS
    Water resistant
    Stainless still
    Orient watch Ltd.

    The front of the watch:
    Japan OS VE01-L00W

    Thank you.
    Kind regards,
    Simona

    from the web......

Orient has a reputation for offering high-quality timepieces at low prices.

Orient watches are generally considered to be good timepieces that offer good value for money. One of the reasons Orient watches are highly regarded is that the brand produces its own mechanical movements in-house, which is a rare feature for a watch brand at this price point.

    .
Orient Watch Co. is owned by Seiko Epson while Seiko Watch Co. is owned by Seiko Holdings Group.

    .
In 2009, Seiko Epson made Orient Watch into a wholly-owned subsidiary.
Orient was founded in 1950 in Japan and has an incredibly rich history of watchmaking

Watch afficianado here. I owned several Seiko watches with diamond chips back in the day. I also owned a quartz Lady Elgin encrusted with pronged-in CZs that even fooled my estate jeweler in Cape May. I would venture to say they are better quality CZs. Beautiful watch.
