I bought this necklace last week at a thrift store and am wondering if the chain and pendant could be a marriage. I found a similar example at RubyLane (last photo) using Google Lens with a similar chain and a pendant that seems a better match than the pendant on my necklace.

The examples of Austro-Hungarian necklaces I saw online all seemed to have more elaborate chains that definitely match the pendant.

I'm also wondering if something is missing from the pendant because of the little half-loops, or are they just decoration? Any information and opinions are appreciated. P.S. There are no marks on my necklace.

Gorgeous necklace, Joan, and I agree with the Ruby Lane seller, Bohemian/Czechoslovakian.
Just a few years earlier it would have been Bohemian/Austro-Hungarian.;)

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I have a necklace with a similar pendant, although the necklace part is a different style. The ring next to the clasp is marked CZECHOSLOVAKIA. I see no marks on the pendant. It doesn't "feel" like it is a marriage.
