Hi all,was hoping for a bit of help identifying these pieces. Can't find anything of the makers mark online. I have seen 2 or 3 very similar pieces with almost identical mounts online, they were 18th century french pieces. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Screenshot_20231016-194342_Samsung Internet.jpg

As you're probably aware, google image searches on the mark come up with nothing, but do come up with similar pieces, though they have lids... and the ones I'm finding are listed as reproductions.
My first impression is that yours is a pseudo-mark, but WDIK. Hopefully, knowledgeable people will chime in soon with their opinions! :)

I think it's a modern repro piece. I have seen a couple of similar items with metal trim one of them was a tray. It had a very similar mark but with a date from the late 19th century. If I remember what it was I will let you know.
