Featured Silverplate chambersticks with pseudo-hallmarks

    Picked these up for a song this week. The silverplate is a bit worn but thought they were worth getting. The cage-like candle cups remove as shown. Were these just for a larger diameter candle or for some other purpose? Mark is shown. Any idea of maker and age?

    I thought that might be the case but it is only 1 5/8" interior diameter. Not sure if I have seen any that small.

    Thanks for the link. I see how shades could work for this now. Will have to keep my eye out for some at the thrifts. Makes no sense to pay ebay prices for $4.00 candlesticks .... LOL!
