Your Middle Eastern box is from Granada.

I should have said that they are meant to be removable. Would not remove them permanently.

Spain? Always took these to be from Syria, Egypt, and other Middle Eastern countries.

Granada has a very similar ware. Called taracea in Spanish. I looked at the box carefully and couldn't decide but lean toward Damascene. If Grenadine, a better example than most. A less common shape, more subdued coloration, a bit finer interior finish and without that plastic-like exterior finish. Also boxes from Granada tend to have a bright gold-tone clasp closure rather than a keyhole. I'd be interested to know what others think.

Exactly what I've been told, re: eustachian tubes.
I had my first ear specialist appointment at age three and have gone regularly ever since. I can't even count the number of times I've had tubes placed. At this point it's been about four years since my last set, so I'm due... :inpain:

I’ve seen nigh on identical boxes in Granada and other parts of Spain, they’re nice tourist wares. I’ve a couple of small ones bought there. This one is upper end, agreed.

Couple items from Wednesday. Glassware with some sterling bits were about $3.00 with my senior discount at the Goodwill. Salt and pepper shakers are Cambridge Chantilly.

This old 1/2 gal. jug was $3.00 as well. Perfect condition.

I was bummed out that my favorite annual flea market was rained out. I went back to bed, slept late, got up at 10 am (kittens were crazy last night.) Hubby said there was a yard sale down the street, I decided to have coffee. At 11, it started to sprinkle so I took a ride over....they marked everything FREE. Sorry for so many pics, will make a few posts. Not all vintage, and some will be donated, but great for reselling.
